Auditions

Please read:

** There is a $100 deposit due at time of audition for OCCT productions. If you state that you will accept any role, but fail to do so, the $100 will be considered a donation to OCCT. **

If role is accepted the $100 deposit will go toward your cast fees.

Workshop:
Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2026 from 6:00 pm -8:00 pm

Auditions:
Friday, Feb. 6th from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm
OR
Saturday, Feb. 7th from 9:00am - 12:00pm

Callbacks:
Saturday, September 27th from 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Audition process for main cast

(ages 8-18)

Audition times:

Friday, February 6th from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm

OR Saturday, February 7th from 9:00 am- 12:00 pm

(*choose only one of the above days to audition)

**Auditions are first come, first serve. When you arrive to the audition and turn in your completed audition paperwork, you will be given an audition number.

Please arrive 30min prior to turn in paperwork.

*You must bring a photo to auditions (i.e. school photo)

Requirements for auditions: 16-32 bars (approx. 30 seconds- 1 min) of a song from a musical or movie musical that fits the style of a character you would like to play.
Please have music on a device (phone, iPad), with a karaoke version of your song.
Choreography will be taught at auditions and will be included in the audition process.
Print audition packet (see below) and bring it filled out/signed to auditions.

CALLBACK INFORMATION

Callbacks are Saturday, February 7th from 1:00 - 4:00 pm

(by invitation only).

Callback info will be posted one week prior to auditions.

(*Please note that not every cast member will receive a callback).

*If a potential cast member can not be present during the scheduled auditions, please send an email to meglllj2000@gmail.com, to setup an alternative audition.

Each cast member must accept/decline his or her role by sending an email to jlgwaltney00@gmail.com within 24 hours of the posting.

Audition process for Telegrammers (ages 5-8+)

Audition times:

Saturday, February 7th from 12:00- 1:00 pm

Telegrammer auditons consist of a singing and dancing portion. If desired, the child can sing 30 seconds of his/her favorite song. Some children may not want to sing alone so the group may sing a song together. The telegrammer choreographer will then teach a short, simple dance to the children.

Cast Fees

Main Cast (ages 8-18):

$450.00 (Includes a $100 Deposit due at the time of audition.)

Telegrammer (ages 5-8+):

$200.00

(full cast fee amount is due at the parent meeting)

There will be a mandatory parent meeting Monday, February 9th at 5:45pm

First rehearsal is Monday, February 9th, 2026

Rehearsals Days and times:

Mondays & Thursdays

5:30pm - 8:30pm

Saturdays
